How to Heal: Leading From the Wound vs. the Wisdom it Offers

An extremely helpful point of reflection for leaders* is to ensure that the ways we plan, communicate, make decisions, collaborate, and build trust & relationships are all informed by the inner wisdom we possess and not the wounds.

So often, I see us reacting to people or situations from a place of fear or ego—prime indicators that some unhealed wound has been activated.

How might we identify this wisdom? Experience is not enough. Try out this “formula” and see how it works for you.

knowledge + experience + reflection ability + self-awareness + healing process = wisdom

If any element feels “missing,” prioritize building up knowledge and skill in that area.
