How to Heal: Self-Coaching Pt. 3

Did you already see parts 1 and 2 of our Self-Coaching Series?

It is said that we do not see the world as it is but as we are. We must uncover the stories we tell ourselves and rigorously interrogate their veracity.

When we experience any kind of stimulus, we are likely to create stories about why it happened, its significance, or what might happen next. Examining our stories and how we created them increases our self-knowledge and awareness.

Here is our third self-coaching flow.

1. What just happened?

2. What story did you create about what just happened? What story did you create about yourself, your abilities, intelligence, leadership, or that of others?

3. Is the story true? Why or why not? How do you know?

4. So, now what?
